Most residents of Arbor Forest have lived there many years -- I am no exception. In the 4 years I have lived there the rents have only gone up once -- much different than some complexes that raise rents each year. The complex is owned by a family in Detroit, and has been in their family for the entire time. The complex is old -- so we don't have central air or dishwashers. We do have a dedicated on-site manager and an excellent maintenance crew. The focus is on providing a quiet environment, for working professionals. Very few students live in this complex, and those that do are respectful. Noise is not tolerated by the management and is noise complaints are dealt with quickly. A great place to live. I am thinking of leaving, but only because I would like to buy my own own.
