Very average apartment, nice location for students

I have lived in Cedar Greens for several years. I have not seen the four bedroom apartments, as they are new this year. This review is only for the one bedrooms. The apartments are not very big, nor are they very nice. Not bad, just average. For a one bedroom apartment, its fairly comparable to many other places in town. I would not recommend sharing a one bedroom with a roommate, the places are just too small. The location is good if you are a student. It's walking distance to MSU or a bus trip to LCC. Its on a major bus line, helpful if you don't have a car. If you are determined to live alone, close to campus, then this place is a reasonable solution, but it's not gonna blow you away with how great it is. This complex was recently taken over by DTN. This has influenced my decision to move out. After researching other options, I would recommend living elsewhere. Personally, I find that the best value is to be had from a two bedroom apartment with one roommate. The bottom line with Cedar Greens is that it's one of the older apartments in town and there are better options. Look elsewhere.
