This is my second year at the "village." The first year wasn?t so bad, crappy shower broke down a lot, nothing out of the ordinary in a college apartment. When we were forced to switch apartments, because of a mess up from the front desk, we moved into the "worst apartment in the community"- direct words from the grounds manager. After living in unliveable conditions for 2 weeks, and having them threaten to evict us, because we tried to get a reduced rent for that month, we ended up paying full price. It has been one problem after another, mischarging us for electric bills, and their "renovations" with the ethernet have put my cable tv, and my cable internet out of service for days, of course not seeing a penny from the management company. If the complex manager was actually at her desk and wasn?t impossible to get ahold of, maybe problems would have been taken care of sooner. But the assistant was who returned my voicemails, sometimes a week after my complaint and she didn?t have many answers. If you do live here, expect to pay extra money whenever they tell you to, or they threaten to evict you. If they "improve" your apartment in any way, it either inconveniences you, or means additional costs added to your lease. Beware the balconies, they do tend to shake after 3 people are on it. We?ve had problems from the crews they hire, such as paint all over my stereo equipment from the people who were doing our ethernet, and we also had our ceiling cave in from the people who were "repairing" the roof. BEWARE if you choose to live here. It?s fun to party at, but not to live at. The parties are non-stop, and that means unless you LOVE techno music, which I and most sane people don't, it?s not a good place to live. qmzu4EHcaGAPVCPw2Fai
