I lived in the Club one year...and it wasn't terrible, but there is no way i would live there again. I found the office staff to be pretty friendly and helpful...but most of them don't really know anything about what's going on, and they aren't always at the office on time in the morning. The utility bills can also be REALLY high (ours was $330 month). I don't know if they just have inefficient air conditioners or what...but wow.
I also had an ID card that broke, and was charged FIFTY DOLLARS to replace it. It was their card, and ir cracked in my hand. I returned it to them...so there was no chance I was just trying to make another key, and I was still charged fifty dollars, so that was about the most unreal thing that happened to me. It's also pretty expensive to sign anything but a year lease, which is pretty lame.
The maintenance people are great and will usually come pretty quickly after a request is made. They're also great about tanning appointments, and for a while they stopped calling when there was a package waiting for you, but they started doing that again.
They also do soem weird things. For a while they tried to get people to wear wristbands and sign in at the pool, which was a complete failure. The pool at the Village is a GREAT attraction and it's pretty much like MTV Spring Break when people are around. They also have their lots gated...which you would think would be nice but is actually a major reason why we're moving. Scanning our friends in got REALLY old, especially when there aren't gates on any other lots in the area.
Honestly, management is annyoing. Noone ever seems to quite know whats going on. But the community is nice and the apartments are nice. The single leases are also a nice thing.
