Bad Experience

I did not too much scouting for apartments and settled on the Club after looking at only a few places...big mistake.
The most serious problem with the Club is the noise. Noise comes from all directions: from your neighbors and from outside the apartment building itself. The apartment's walls are paper thin and you can here practically everything that goes on next door - from fridges opening to cabinets closing. Because the insulation is terrible, the noise travels even easier. From outside, my building was close to the Chandler Crossings plaza, and like clockwork on Wednesday nights, I would hear the base and instruments booming from the Small Planet bar, which hosts concerts on random weeknights. To sum up, if you want to study or get to sleep without trouble, the Club is not for you.
The amenities that the Club offers were part of what drew me to the place. When I got here, I found out that using the amenities here is difficult because many of them are unavailable. For instance, the golf simulator was broken for the first couple months of my lease. Also, the one time that I wanted to play ping pong, all the balls were broken. Basketballs went missing and when mine needed air, the main office did not even have a pump to inflate the ball. The one time that I visited the computer lab to print something, there was a printer jam and there was no paper in sight.
One upside of the Club has been the staff, which is generally very friendly and accommodating of requests. The staff hosts a number of events for residents each month.
