SOOOOOO NOT WORTH IT!!!!!

I'm currently living in this money-guzzling rat hole, otherwise known as Crossing Place. The only plus is you have your own bathroom, but even that's not enough for me to resign, seeing as how our pipes have frozen many times, and the toilet doesn't work at this time. Pipes frozen equates to no running water. Sometimes we just had hot water, so at least we could shower, but no cold water means no toilet, no washer (no clean clothes) ... you get the picture. The lease is very misleading -- no more 24-hr game room because some idiots decide to break a few things. Also, there might not be 24-hr "fitness center" (what a joke) because we don't know how to shut its door to keep the heat in so the pipes won't freeze (yeah, right). Further, the roommate matching service is ridiculous -- it doesn't work, based on my and another friend's experience. It says in the lease that if your new roommates didn't work out that after 10 days they would have to move out -- IT'S A LIE!!!!! We approached management about it and they said there was no more room to put them anywhere, so they were stuck in my apartment. I'm paying $380 a month to live in my bedroom. And as everyone before me has expressed, the insulation is pretty much non-existent. Yes, you can hear everything in the hallway and through the walls. I will admit that living on the third floor has helped in the noise department -- nothing above or really below to complain about. Yes, heating bills are high, but at least there's 4 people to split it with. I have a huge water stain on my ceiling from the roof leaking -- it's even worse in the hallway (paint/ceiling now peeling away). Overall, this place was a waist of MY money, but I suppose I might consider living here if mommy and daddy were paying my rent and bills. Then again, most likely not. My vote for Crossing Place' A RESOUNDING NO
