Out of all the housing choices I had last year, I'm actually glad I had the opportunity to live in Crossing Place. I lived with three other girls who didn't mind not knowing one another because we didn't share rooms, the neighbors were nice, and management didn't bother me at all - so I was able to have my cats in the apartment the entire time I lived there, and no one was the wiser. I hear horror stories from my Melrose and Chandler friends about untimely maintainence, intrusive landlords, and too many drunks around the buildings, and I just smile because I didn't deal with any of that. I would recommend Crossing Place to someone with a reliable car (as busses didn't run in the summer when I lived there) and someone who wants to bend the rules a bit. And the clubhouse open 24/7 was nice in the summer for drunken swimming. :)
