Not worth for the money

I have lived at Hidden Tree Apartment for more than 5 years. Initially I was pretty happy about the place. Especially good for the family with children.
The problem is the inconsistency of the management. I believe the manager has been changed more than 3 times while I was there. And the current management seems to be the worst of all. Apparently, they seem to try hard, but they are spending their time on unnecessary things, such as tenant appreciation day, birthday card to the tenant and etc.
In contrast, the maintenance response time has been lengthened and the rent has been raised very much compared to the previous annual rent increases. Due to the nature of college town, it seems tenants move in and out very frequently and it seems they have lowered the rent pretty much to fill up those empty apartments. But beware of the initially low rent. I have seen the rent going up sharply when the renewal comes up.
I would say the living environment is pretty good, but I would rather choose other comparable apartments with reasonable rents. If you don??t have animals living with you, be careful of the feces everywhere. The people with animals don??t always pick up their waste. It used to be an animal-free complex until very recently and the management probably allowed the tenants with animals to get more residents quickly. It is perfectly OK as long as it does not bother other residents. If you are animal owner and if you do clean your animals?? waste, very good! But the reality is that not everyone does that as you do and the apartment does not care enough about that.
Hidden Tree apartment management will do anything to maximize their profit. You also have to pay a utility bill covering water and others in addition to the regular rent. It costs about $30. It you don??t care of the amount of the rent, this might be a good place for you.
