I lived in Timberlake, which as you might notice is another poorly reviewed place, so I've had my share. This place is awful. First of all, when I first visited the place I was shown a model. It's the model for the biggest 1 bedroom they have, and it is admittedly very nice. However, never are you allowed to see the inside of the building you will actually live in. My building looks worse then section 8 housing. The carpet is stained, everything's dirty. When I first moved in you couldn't even close the "locked, intercom protected" front door. After a whole lot of slamming, we fixed that. After about 3 weeks of living there generally happy, my ceiling began to leak. I called maintenance, they came out and said they would have it fixed the next day. 5 weeks, 6 buckets, and a whole lot of soaked furniture later (and after threatening to put my rent in excrow) they fixed it. I have a neighbor downstairs who cooks food that smells like curry marinated rotten garbage. And of course because all of our heat is connected, my apartment constantly smells like curry marinated rotten garbage. About 6 months ago they installed what I can only assume to be a 10,000 watt light outside to point into the carports, however, it also points into our apartments. There's only one water heater per building so if your neighbor is running water when you want to take a shower, watch out. My garbage disposal has never worked. When I moved in a year ago I gave them a list of things that had to be fixed immediately (ie, a screen door that did not open and was so bent that bugs were coming in) that were never fixed. All in all, to make a long story somewhat shorter, everything is old and falling apart. Really old. The apartments are big and in a semi-convenient location, but it's not worth it. The rent is high, the people are rude, and the place blows. I would stay far far away from this one.
