Overall great, but you might get "snowed" in!

First the good things: I have had two maintenance issues, and both were taken care of within the hour that I called--it was impressive. Once I called and the maintenance tech was at my door in under 10 minutes. Management is really responsive to maintenance issues.
Hiddentree is competitively priced, and the apartments are large and clean. And you can't beat free heat in the winter!
I have been very satisified EXCEPT for one major thing: when it snows significantly, the contractor who plows the lots takes his sweet time to get here. Last significant snow storm it was about 5 hours before the lots were TOUCHED. That left nearly a foot of snow in the lots and total mayhem. The sidewalks are plowed by maintenance, and they usually do a good job. But they need a new contractor for the lots. People have to get in and out!
