Overall, Hidden Tree is a great deal. It's nice only having four apartments to a building (although it may feel a little too intimate if your neighbors are weird...), the landscaping is really nice, and the apartments are maintained well and well spaced.

However, the snow issue is a problem - you may literally be snowed into the apartment if there is a serious snowstorm (probably only once or twice a year).

Lastly, as anyone who notices the location can tell, it can be a pain to get out of the complex and onto major roads if you're heading toward East Lansing.

I'm sorry, but did you forget you live in Michigan? Snow storms like that occur everywhere, not just at this community. :P
