Hiddentree is by far the biggest mistake I have ever made. They are ridiculously expensive and nothing is included in your rent, I mean nothing. My roommate and I were put on the waiting list a year in advance and they lied to us about getting us the apartment we wanted. Sometime in July they contacted us saying nothing was available so we had to settle on a more expensive apartment at the last minute. They tricked us saying it was a 12 month lease but they're making us move out at the end of July. When I confronted them about it, they told us we had the "option" to move out later, just they didn't mention it! She said they did what was best for the property.

Also five other huge reasons you should not choose Hiddentree:
1. Hot water was unavailable on and off for 3 whole months. They kept telling us that they were waiting on a pipe part.
2. Nothing is included in your rent so heat, AC, electricity, cable/internet, sewage, everything is on your own. Utilities alone amount to $50 or more a month on top of rent.
3. PARKING is never available. When asked to reprimand parking violators, they tell you to call PACE and they do not come out. So basically even though you pay to live there, you will never find a parking spot after 8 pm but do not expect them to help you with this.
4. Fines/fees. If you pay your rent late, it is a $75 charge on top of rent. If you want month to month after you lease is up, it is an additional $500 on top of rent.
5. RATS. There are rats in my ceiling and I can hear them scurrying around all the time. I am sure they are enjoying the heat I pay through the roof for! About the sound, these apartment walls are as thin as paper. When the guy is mowing the lawn outside at 8 am, it sounds as though he is in your bedroom. Whenever our neighbors partied, this was a huge problem for studying and everything else.

Please go with a place that will include amenities with your rent. There are so many other apartments that include fitness, cable/internet, heat, etc for no charge. Hiddentree completely sucks and should close its doors.
