I moved in March to Hillcrest 1 (older buildings) and based on the other posts, it sounds like these are actually BETTER than the new ones! As long as you don't mind no disposal, doing your own dishes and buying a window air conditioner....there isn't much to complain about. The office staff has been more than accomodating. My fridge was making a load noise every time the compressor shut off, I included that on my check in form and gave that to them on monday, on wednesday I had a new fridge! I'm also getting a ceiling fan put in when I didn't even ask for one....they offered it to me if I wanted it...which is so cool.
I have a one bedroom apt, and it is soooo spacious. the bathroom is cute with the original tile, the floors are in great shape and I have a ton of closets.
Parking has never been an issue, Im on the first floor so of course I hear the people upstairs (hardwood floors...duh). But it has never been loud enough to be truly annoying. I have a bay window! not many apartments have those. I've seen a few ants around, and one nasty looking house centipede, but thats all. The laundry facility has 4 washers, and 4 dryers (that actually dry on the first try)
These apartments are great!
