Well....
Overall, not a good place to live. While sleeping, my roommate was bitten by a deadly spider and nearly died. She accumulated more than $15,000 in medical bills, was in Sparrow Hospital for a week, suffered life-long nerve damage, scarring, and nearly had to have her leg amputated. Homestead has refused to take responsibility for any of it and has given us nothing but "the run around." Complex is poorly managed, does a poor job of "following up on issues" and is more interested in cashing checks than anything else. Rent is too high, they offer few amenities, staff is often rude, and apartments are not very well maintained.
