I absolutely loved living at Homestead between 1999 and 2000. Occasionally you would hear the thursday night crowd coming home but that was only while they were in the parking lot. I never heard my neighbors and they never seemed to hear me ( I played indoor fetch with my 85lb dog and I was on the 3rd floor.) As for amenities I think that being able to sit on my patio and watch the deer was way better than a swimming pool any day.
