My cousin and I lived in Homestead Apartments for a year and was not satisfied from the day we moved in. There are some employees that work in the office who are very friendly, but there are others who are not. I also did not like that for two months in a row the management claimed that I did not pay rent. I had to take a day off of work and come in with my bank statement to let them know that I did in fact pay that months rent. This is also not a place I would recommend to students. We have not had any noise complaints, but a majority of the people who occupy our building were older people and also MSU Alumni. There have also been THREE break in's when I lived there for ONE year. They also have really TINY bathroom and over sized pantries. The only thing I liked about living here was the convenient location. There is a Meijer down the road and also various CATA bus stops. I also enjoyed the maintenance crew. They were very nice and did repairs in a timely matter. I would recommend A LOT of research before moving into these apartments.
