I just moved out of my apt in May and am in the process of moving to Texas. I thought I would provide an honest opinion for people who actually need this info to help make a decision! I lived at the Landings from August 2004-May 2006. I was in a 2 bed/ 2 bath. Pros: I liked having my own bedroom and bathroom - I felt like I had plenty of space, apartment was pretty clean in terms of walls and carpets. Parking was usually not a problem. The work-out room was nice and pretty well maintained and office staff was pretty easy to deal with although there was a fair amount of turnover. Cons: Walls, ceilings, etc are extremely thin and I could constantly hear my neighbors walking around upstairs, playing music, headboards banging against the wall, etc. There also seemed to be some shady characters coming in and out of the buildings at all hours of the night, slamming doors, screaming and yelling, and a couple of times banging on my door at 4 AM. Apartment security did not do anything! Even though the complex is gated, the gates were sometimes left open and random people could enter the complex. This was definitely an "Undergrad Student Living" place. I would not recommend it to grad students or those who enjoy having a nice place to call home. If you like to be around tons of other students and prefer the individual lease than this works out pretty well. Overall, I would say my experience was ok, but I was certainly glad to leave and would not live there again! Hope this helps! k6tKKzmJrmATU2ap682S
