I found out about The Landings through this website when I was a freshman, went to the complex, took at tour, and signed later that week. I heard some mixed reviews about the place, (especially there former owners Melrose), however I haven't had any problems living here, which is why I have recently resigned. Yes, it is 2.5 miles from Campus. But it really is only a 15 minute bus ride to classes, which is the same amount of time I spent on walking from Wilson to most classes when I lived on campus. The staff and managers have always been nice to me, and they throw events for us at least a few times a month that generally give out free food, which is always a plus.

I've told friends to live here, and I'd say the same to anyone else.

I think Melrose did a better job. I feel that they at least had a better staff. Its more like a 40-50 min bus ride and don't let the 2.5 mile to campus fool you .. with traffic and everything else at least a 10 15 min drive into msu. The events stink no one goes to them and free food is not that often unless you want some cookies or candy. I've told my friends NOT to live here , and I'd say the same to anyone else.
