We just moved out of the Landings, and our experience was good in the middle and pretty poor at the beginning and end.

In the beginning it took forever to get our furniture, and maintenance and management were struggling, but it improved. We had an early move-in and they were very acommodating, but the internet was so bad it was almost useless. The internet got fixed around October and was better, at least for a while.

Towards the middle maintenance came very quickly and everything was an excellent experience. Everything went extremely smoothly and I was very pleased to live there (except for the speed bumps). The only REALLY weird thing was that the office decided at one point that tanning appointments couldn't be made over the phone anymore. You had to physically go in the office to make an appointment, and then go again to tan. I actually had an agent tell me "it's taking too much time for the agents on the phone and finding the list".

On the way out things got weird again, and I have no doubt we will receive some absurd move-out charges. The internet was worked on and went from decent/poor to AWFUL. They also got rid of Big Ten Network AND Fox Sports Detroit. Nothing like the complex giving you one last quick jab. I'm glad i don't live there anymore.
