Management office is rarely closed and maintenance is virtually nonexistant. The maintenance man will tell you he fixed it, but he didn't. It takes forever to get anything fixed. An example, I didn't have a stove for a whole month until my brother-in-law came over and fixed it. There are washer/dryer connections are misleading as they are only for stackable small appliance. There is a laundry room next to the office, but the dryers don't seem to dry very well. The stairs to the upstairs apartments are steep and made of wood. I have fallen twice (being as careful as possible), and the management refused to make out an incident report or try to make the stairs less slippery. They say (and I quote), "You'll have to learn to be more careful. It's not our problem". The apartments are small and the rooms are not that useable. The fireplaces are not worth having as they only come with a wire screen, so if you have pets or small children, it would be very dangerous. Parking is ridiculous, so if you get in after 5pm, expect a hard time finding a place to park your car in the parking lot. It's also very slippery in the winter time, so be careful! Regarding rent: You have to mail your rent check to a bank in OHIO (you CANNOT pay at the office), so if the mail is late, it's an automatic $100 fee as there is no grace period and no exceptions.
