Lived there for a year. Thought it was great. No big problems to really report. Only had a few issues. For one thing, i lived on the second floor and had the bedroom near the front of the apartment, at night all you could hear were noisy neighbors running up and down the stairs, i guess they were just heaving steppers, but it was annoying. In the winter, maintenance was slow to plow. If snow fell at night, maintenance didn't plow or shovel till following day(not following morning). one night i ended up shoveling from my apartment to my car and the walkway up to the laundry room. Also if you live on the second floor, water would drip down from the 3rd floor stairs and freeze, so it's a good idea to salt the walkway yourself. Apartment was overall pretty nice, only had issues with the door knobs, they only opened up the door if turned one way and not the other...weird. never complained about it so i guess it was my own fault for putting up with it. Same thing with the shower knobs, very touchy with temperature. Water took a while to heat up from the faucet. Had to get into the routine of letting the hot water run to warmup for a couple of minutes. Staff was very friendly. had issues with their hours of operation, mon,wed,fri 9am-5pm, but they were lieniant and understanding about turing certain forms in late. All in all i think the benefits far outweighed the cons. Our dishwasher was having problems and they fixed it within a couple of days. It is located within minutes of everything, close to msu. I would have stayed there but didn't have a roommate so I had to move out. It's down a quiet street and no one really had any loud obnoxious parties, and if they did, i never noticed them. I would definitly recomend this place.
