I currently live in Timberlake Apartments and wouldn't be surprised if the staff had written any of the good reviews this place has received. The apartments are dirty and the appliances are old and constantly breakdown. The staff here is absolutely terrible...there is this husband/wife combo that run the place and both of them are shady and can not keep a cigarette out of their hands. It also is impossible to heat these apartments during the winter. I can feel cold air coming through the windows at night and they are completely shut. Do not live here, do not let the shady staff trick you...Timberlake Apartments is the WORST place to live in East Lansing. k6tKKzmJrmATU2ap682S

I agree with you. The maintenance guy has 17 cars he is working on parked in other peoples parking spaces, rebuilding engines, changing oil, transmission fluid ect. He and his drinking buddies set up posts to pitch horse shoes, drink beer and blast music all night. Some of the other residents are too afraid to say anything because he has the master key to all the apartments.... I will be glad the day I leave this place for some peace and quiet.

you guys hit the nail on the head. when he's not wokring on his car, he must be out fixing something. him and his twelve kids populate the northwest corner of the complex and treat the court yard as there own backyard. dont be surprised to return home to toys laying all over the sidewalk. management seems to give him free range of the complex. when he and his "wife" (i'm guessing) arent arguing...they enjoying entertain friends who show the same disrepect for all in the area. good apts, old facilities, and compliances...all in all ok. but i would not live near the "maintenance" guy, cause he is always maintaining his 12 cars, and whomever elses who needs a tune up. he also has a trailer ,he parks whereever he would like, and sits in the same spot for a month. even if its a "good spot."
