I would not recommend this place to anyone. This is the third apartment complex I have lived at in East Lansing and this place is by far the worst. The appliances and cupboards are old and don't work. When we first moved in we had a problem with spiders and that stopped once it was winter and now that the weather is warming up we have LARGE carpenter ants. My roommates car was also broken into. We confronted the office regarding her car being broken in to because my roommate had made a complaint earlier in the week about the lights outside not working. When she confronted them about her car being broken in as a possible result of no lights, they told her she "they found that highly doubtful" and just blew her off. The utility bills here are ABSOLUTELY outrageous. My roommate and I work fulltime and are only here at night..our utility bills on average ran almost $200/month. Our heat was not working properly when we moved in, because they had the blower turned down to low instead of high. Also, our hot water doesn't work correctly. I'm lucky if I get 15 minutes of hot water. I confronted them TWICE on the hot water issue..the first time they told me the hot water heater was working fine, and the second time I complained they cleaned some pipes out, but the hot water is still terrible. We also had a problem with our dryer. I think it's seriously from 1920...like most of the appliances. It wouldn't dry our clothes at first, they came and looked and oh it was because they hadn't cleaned the dryer lint and such out in about 10 years. I can't believe how awful this place is, for what they charge for rent. You'd have to be insane to live her. The only positive thing about this junkhole is that it has covered parking, but seriously invest your money elsewhere...
