Here since August and already in the process of breaking my lease

I have had nothing but problems. Obviously this place charges you an arm and a leg because of all the extras that are included in your rent. We can first start with the roommate matching service they advertise. I signed and finalized my lease in April, ad that includes filling out the resident profile so that I could have roommates. They lost it. Then they tried to blame me, right, like I walked into their office, pulled my file and took out the profile for kicks. Another issue soon to surface involved the pass keys, three times I had to take time out of my schedule to go and get a new passkey becuase they couldnt manage to get mine to work. When I moved in (and move in day was a complete mess, totally disorganized and a sign that I should have run away) my apartment was disgusting. The people that lived there before hadn't cleaned a thing, there was still food in my fridge. Becuase they couldn's seem to get their acts together with the pass keys the gates that are supposed to help with the parking issues and control who gets in and out of the lots were never down. As a result someone scratched my car and didn't admit to it. When we moved in they were supposed to be functional in a week, it was well after September 12th before they finally began to work. Another "free" service they provide is the ethernet. This has been not working on average one full day a week since we moved in. And there is absolutely no compensation or warning for this, I can't even begin to list how many times I have come home from 7 hours of class straight only to find out the homework I need to complete on line can't be done becasue they shut the internet off, so I have to drive all the way back. They provide absoutley no advanced warning so that you can make arrangements. Another one of the many problems here is that they messed up my mail, and not just me, the building I am in allows access to six apartments, on just my side alone they have messed up three of our mail. I didn't get anything for six weeks straight, I wracked up a ton of late charges because I couldn't get my bills so I couldn't send in payments. And why did this happen, the staff screwed something up in their computers and then tried to blame me for it. Now on to the office staff. One of the staff memebers has absolutely no people skills. Every time I would leave a message saying that I would leave a phone call I would end up leaving two or three messages and then have to go to the office and sit there and wait while she took a very unnecessarially large amount of time to complete a VERY VERY simple calculation. After getting more and more irritated I decided that it was time to take action and scheduled and appointment with one of the other managers. She didn't even bother to show up. Thats how it is, they treat you like crap, all they see you as is a rent check, there is absolutely no attempt to improve the relationship between management and residents, they treat you with absolutely no respect. Even fast food resturants train their employess on how to interact with their customers. Go to a national fast food place, you'll get a warmer welcome and better treatment any day of the week.
