We subleased a room at a two bedroom apartment in fromer Melrose for summer 2003. The place looked very attractive at the first site. But now I would not sign a lease.

Even on summer days the sun shine did not get into the apartment (ours was on the fist floor). it is okay during summertime, but could be depressing during fall and winter.

To be fair, the bus service is good,
the place has a nice club and fitness room, and pool is nice to use in summers. The bath room and kitchen were new and the furniture was decent. Mainenace guys were good. the fact that each bedroom has it's own bath helps to keep privacy.

Can be a good choice for undergraduate students who are not tight in budget and are not too studious. E.g. the sound of outdoor radio the put near the pool was too loud for me. For my budget the prices were way too high and the place did not fit my lifestyle, as I like to have more light, space and privacy.
