Liked it, couldn't afford it

I have lived there since August 05' and am having a sub-leaser come in May. These apartments are nice and I have never had any problems with maintenance; it may take a few days, but there are a lot of apartments, so it isn't a real big deal. I used all of the 'amenities' as a plus when I moved in, but I rarely use the pool, hottub, or courts. I have used the gym quite a bit and my roommate says the tanning beds are not very clean and burn her every time. I have never used the clubhouse facilities-nor has anyone else, probably. The computer room is always broke. They are really slow and the printer never works. Considering it is practically all students, the noise wasn't bad. If you come to live at Chandlers in East Lansing, you should be aware that MSU is in the top 10 for party schools and majority of these students are done or practically done with school. On the weekends, or big events like MSU/MI game there really isn't much parking-which sucks for residents. I have never gotten anything stolen out of my car. The gates really suck. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't-if you don't have your key, you are screwed and watch out because it WILL fall on your hood. Someone stole my gate card one time and I couldn't even get into my building the entire night. The mail sucks cuz you have to walk over there, but I knew that when I moved in. You do meet a lot of new people and majority of the residents are friendly. It is just too expensive for my taste. These are nice apartments with A LOT of stuff included-having your own bathroom is saweet! If you have the money and don't mind living with people you don't know, then I would suggest living here. I think that if people treat their apartment like ----, then residents in the future will complain because everything will fall apart, but if you keep it clean and nice, then everything should stay up-to-par.
