I have lived at the Village throughout the past two years and boy has it gone downhill since I moved in. Initially this was a pretty cool place to live and the management really seemed to care about making the tenants happy, but new management took over midway through last year and things have been absolutely aweful ever since. Shawn in the managers office is a cool guy and wants to help, but every other person that works there is an absolute moron. The staff in the office is not friendly at all (except for the 2 hour period prior to you signing a contract), and they will do anything in the power to get money out of you. This year they upped rent $20 for the cost of "better ammentities" and promised them to be ready for use by end of September, its mid October and no progress has been made in the last two months. Don't let them fool you with "free printing" either, because it takes them a month to replace an ink cartridge so the thing never works. Oh and if Chandlers does by chance charge you extra for anything, make sure that you make copies of every receipt you ever received from them because they will deny you paid them (because management is a bunch of morons) and will threaten to evict you unless you "pay again." And if something breaks in the apt. don't bother filing a maintenance report, because it will take 6 months for them to replace anything you want. I have lived in DTN complexes before and they are 1000x better with taking care of their residents. I'm not telling you this because I hold a grudge, I'm warning you not to make the same mistake I did and sign a contract and live here for a whole year. DO NOT LIVE IN THE VILLAGE!!!
