worst staff ever, advertised amenities are non-existent

Woodbrook Village is apparently a testing ground for new DTN staff, so there is changeover every year. They are unorganized and often rude. The staff lost two of my rent checks, charged me a late fee for one of them and refused to refund that late charge when they later found my check.
They charged me different fees every year despite having made arrangements with previous apartment manangers. For example: I have a pet for which I paid a $200 security deposit. During a routine maintenance check, they noticed I had a pet, could not find my pet's papers, and decided to charge me an additional $20 a month for the pet.
They have a great pool, but it is rarely open during the posted hours (which are limited). You may only bring one non-resident to the pool per apartment, and the pool monitors are rude to visitors which means nobody could use the pool but me. The "fitness center" hardly qualifies.
The best thing I can say about this place is that the grounds are nicely maintained (they really are nice) and the maintenance is always prompt. The maintenance person, Hop, is always prompt and respectful.
