This lease was a last minute commitment I made last summer and I am so glad I picked Woodside. The neighbors are quiet and respectful. Sometimes I can hear the upstairs people watching TV or arguing, but usually only when their windows are open. I am on the lower level, which bothered me at first, but now I have realized it is safe and comfortable. I have had no big issues and really was impressed with the staff in the beginning of my lease. An inspector came through monthly to make sure no mold was forming and things were working properly. I haven't seen her in a few months, but all is well. My only complaints are small...when it warms up, sometimes a centipede or two get in my apartment and a small area of my carpeting feels damp. A maintenance man (after I called about an hour before) came out and couldn't find the source of the problem, but it eventually went away within that week. Also, Haslett can be a noisy street when you are trying to nap during the day or sleep in, but you get used to it. The rent is pretty cheap for a one bedroom in East Lansing and the 22 is a convenient bus. I just wish I could continue to afford it on my own!
