I recently moved to East Bay Village after living Village Square Apartments. I lived there for ten years. The last almost two years there were a terrible,horrible nightmare. Way too many things to write about. Mostly the management Team put in place almost two years ago. I have read many reviews about Village Square. Non have been good at all. I really felt so sad that Village Square has a management team that does not care about upkeep on the once beautiful place.
I have been told bad things happen for a reason. The disrepair of Village Square turned out to be GREAT THING FOR ME!! It forced me to move to this even better place. East Bay Village. Beautiful grounds, warmed heated pool(Memorial Day thru Labor Day) A really nice Fitness Center, beautiful large clean Club House we can rent for special parties we may want to have. A very large well kept up playground, basketball court, shuffle board court park benches,patios, balconies, apartments,and townhouses. I can not say enough good things about my new home.please if you want a wonderful, quiet place to live... Come live at East Bay Village!!!

I live at East Bay Village. It's ok, but nothing to rave about. Maybe it is much better than Village Square, I've never lived there. I've lived there for 2 years and it isn't always quiet. I have new neighbors 2 doors down, he smokes and I can smell it in my unit. I'm a non smoker and it was terrible. Management gave me an airpurifier and it helped but you can still smell an odor. I'm in a townhouse and your not even supposed to smoke in the townhouses.

I am sorry you have such uncaring smoking neighbors. I live in a ground floor two bedroom apartment. We have not noticed a odor from smoking in our hallways, however the two people that just moved in above about two months a go seem to be chain smokers. They were forever on their balcony smoking. I made a loud comment one day saying someone around here must be smoking because it stinks out here. I have not had a problem since I said that. I pretended I did not know they were above me smoking. I am allergic to cigarette smoke. It flares up my asthma. I love to play in the pool. I have not had any smoker issue by the pool so far.I am still a very happy camper here.
