When I moved in it was a fairly decent place to live. Heat and water included nice neighbors - just what I was looking for.
Since moving into the community several issues have come up. The pool is very nice however unsupervised teenagers would crowd, not allowing a peaceful time and would often swear and carry on. Teenagers often roam the parking lot's at night, breaking into cars and defacing property. There is a sign in the back that the complex has camera's - but of course they don't. The parking lot was dug up for repair and a year later they patched it in the places that they dug up but neglected to pave or fix the rest of it. I am very thankful of the pet friendliness, however unleashed dogs roam day and night. A complaint to the office was voiced, to this "we don't know who's dog that is" even though I provided the apartment where the dog and owners live. The complex advertises heated pool - yet this year we received a notice 2 days prior to the opening of the pool that it needed repair and would not open for another month. I will be surprised if the pool opens at all. Overall it's obvious the owners/management don't want to put any money into the complex.

I am so sorry you have had some bad experiences here at East Bay Village. We have had very good responses to requested repairs. They have been done the same day most times. We just had to wait a week for our central air to be repaired. Savage Heating needed to order parts. I am very happy to say the CA works like a brand new unit.We live in a ground floor two bedroom. We live in a nice little court yard. We love to sit on our patio and smell my Mom's flower "garden" She has roses(they were there when we moved in) She has added several other flowers pots of her own(most were Mother's Day gifts)We/I have lived in other apartment complexes and this is one of the best that We/I have lived in. I am so sad the pool has not opened yet. I go to PT 3X'S a week for my ankle. PT has told me walking in the pool will speed my healing time. I am going on good faith it will open as promised on July 1,2009. Have you tried talking to our manager Larry one to one? He has always been fair and honest with us to date so far. I hope things improve for you soon.
