I have lived at Village Square for a few years. I have seen this once wonderful, beautiful place FALL apart more and more. I feel very sad that I may need to move to regain the pride I use to feel for my home. I have lived here through new owners taking over, 5 Managers(at last count)We use to have beautiful flowers, a great park like grounds/courtyard,a clean,heated,open from end of May to after Labor Day In ground, lighted, Swimming Pool. We had many deck chairs,tables and lounge chairs. Our pool has been falling apart since the new owner took over a few years back. Our latest management team makes a lot of never kept promises. The pool should be opened this weekend as promised, BUT INSTEAD it is torn apart, the new liner is "ordered" I can not help but feel it will never open again. I moved here for the pool. I will be forced to move, maybe to East Bay Village, they have a nice, clean, always open as promised pool. I keep hoping that this management team will step up and fix the mess this once beautiful, wonderful place I call home has turned into. It could be restored to the place it was...not so long ago. If not I will be finding a new home with a pool that is OPEN AS PROMISED!!!! Note to management of Fox Apartment Communities: PLEASE LIVE UP TO YOUR PROMISES,YOUR RESIDENTS IN ALL YOUR BUILDINGS ARE LOSING FAITH IN YOU. WE DO NOT WANT TO LOSE FAITH, BUT WE ARE!!!!SO... PLEASE STEP UP AND MAKE US PROUD TO RENT FROM FOX APARTMENTS AGAIN!!!!! Update it got worse the pool opened late. The management would not restrict smoking. We have chain smokers in the pool and all around the pool. We asked for some health consideration and we were told by management' "IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THE SMOKE DO NOT SWIM" We chose to MOVE. We will be moved by the middle of August. We are moving to a place that cares about non smokers health and smokers are not near or in the pool smoking!!!I can breathe again!!! I am adding this new comment on 10/13/07. I DID MOVE FROM VILLAGE SQUARE IN mid August 2007. I am very happy in my new home. I once again have pride in my home.I have had a couple minor concerns that were responded to and repaired the day I called them in. That did not ever happen at Village Square in almost two years. The pool here does allow smokers BUT AT TABLES FAR AWAY FROM THE POOL. Management has promised that there will never be a smoking issue, because they would not hesitate to ban smoking in the pool area if it ever would become a issue. About 97% of the pool users are non-smokers as I am. I am a very happy "camper". I am glad I moved,but I still feel sad that the management team at Village Square has ruined that once beautiful place.*****UPDATE 10/29/07 Many people may not be aware that Village Square, Orchard Manor, Midland Manor, Webb Drive Apartments, Shirwinjo, and Raven Lane are and managed by Fox Apartments owner Owners------------------, Regional Manager -----------. Village Square has an on sight "manager" Recently a employee of Orchard Manor was arrested for Sexual Assault. Today One of the apartment buildings at Orchard Manor was totaled by a fire. Things just getting worse and worse for Orchard Manor. Again I am so glad I moved out of a Fox Apartment. I do not live to far from Village Square. I pass on my way to Krogers. The grounds and buildings seem to be falling apart more and more. So, So, So very Sad a beauty of a place has fallen into such disrepair!!!!!Update 09/06/08 We have just resigned our lease at our new home. Still very, very happy. Tenants form Village Square still tell me(when I see them around town)that it keeps getting worse all the time at VS. They tell me how lucky I am to be out of there. They tell me of be infested with mice in some of the four building. yikes!!

Well for your info lady...The woman lied about the sexual assault..She made several FALSE POLICE REPORTS!! Get your facts straight before u start shooting off at the mouth...
