I lived in Chatham Hills for just short of 3 years. When I first moved in the office staff was just wonderful so I was more than happy to sign a second lease. I do have to mention that they did try to increase my rent by $150 but when I called and asked to discuss the increase they adjusted it to a $20 increase with $300 off month 1 of the second year. Towards the end of my second year the office staff had completely changed and there wasn't really anyone in the office who gave a damn other than Adam so I had to keep on top of issue I might have had but other than that it was a pretty good place to live so I signed a 3rd lease at which I ran into another rent increase issue which again was dissolved in the same manner as year 2. I only left because I was getting married and bought a house. I have read everyone else's reviews about heat costs and honestly mine were not so bad in my opinion but I have lived in many apartments in my college days. I was on the budget plan with Consumer's Energy so I paid $66 per month year round for gas. I liked to keep my heat around 80 but I will admit the thermistat was obviously incorrect (I have it set at 74 here at my new home). For a college student living check to check and refusing to have roommates I think Chatham Hills was the best value for the money plus the Farmington are is nice and you can't go wrong being so close to all the highways. The Indian neighbors can get to be a pain in the ass but they don't like confrontation so whenever they got out of hand I quickly put them in their place. The smells in the hall was annoying but how much time do we really spend in the hall' The most wonderful thing about Chatham Hills is the 10 inches of solid concrete walls which are sound proof, fire proof & smell proof! I actually got a 10% discount on my renter's insurance when I moved there from my previous apartment. If you choose to move to Chatham Hills go talk to Adam because I know he will take good care of you.

You are absolutely right. Those ------- really stink up the place and are so rude. Their children have no discipline and should all be tied up until they learn to respect their elders!

Well Mr.User. So thoughtful of u to give such a rude comment. Children on their natural behaviour are fun loving and full of energy. They are not robots who follow so called "DISCIPLINE"
