We lived at Citation Club for a year.
1. It is a very beautiful place to live in, the grounds are well kept, and the location is great. The buildings look good from the outside,

2. The buildings are old, however. In the two winters we lived there, the rooms were unbearably cold, beacuse the windows leaked. Management pretty much shrugged off the problem, saying that all windows leak. I have lived at apartments that cost half as much to rent where the windows do not leak. The only solution offered up by the management was to put a plastic shrink wrap type screen on all windows. Not a "Luxury Apt" soluion, in my mind.

3. Maintenance is really slow. We had torn screens when we moved in. Maintenance came in and removed all screens from our windows. It took them two months, and repeated calls to the office, to come back and re-install the screens.

4. Sound isolation is terrible. We were in a first floor apt. and we heard every moan, groan, and telivision sound that our neighbours made, on the ground floor, as well as on both sides!

5. Office staff: some people were really kind and helpful. The others, well, their attitude made it very difficult to deal with. There was a time when I was getting nowhere on a request, so I asked to see the manager. The lady told me that the manager was not in, despite the fact that I could see the manager, sitting in her office, shooting the breeze with another employee.

6. The "gated security" is a joke. Actually, more of an annoyance. The gates are left open after midnight, providing questionable security. Also the old lady in charge of the gate once closed the gate while I was driving through, breaking my car radio antenna.

7. We had no bug problems, however!

All in all, too expensive for what they provide. And the "Luxury" part is clearly wishful thinking on management's part to justify high rents. There is nothingluxurios about these apartments. We paid the high rent for the location.
