Sorry. I continued with the registration process and neglected to finish my thoughts. =) Alright, as an adendum to my partial statement above, let me just say that I was greatly saddened that I could not move in to this place. Having checked it out for several weeks prior to my first visit, I was hopeful! The sales staff was pleasant to work with, and they even found this enormous 3 bed/2 bath apartment that was on special for nearly $600 less per month! The apartment was still not in "showing" condition but we walked the apartment anyway - any reasonably-minded person can see potential beyond the clutter left behind by the painters. The sales person and I found a number of things to be fixed. Not a problem ... things always need a fresh update when a previous tenant has left. So I wrote down a page long list of items that even the sales person agreed was reasonable (I wasn't asking for the moon here - my requests fell in line with what anyone should expect of a luxury apartment). A week goes by and I'm told the apartment is ready. I walk through it with the sales person and the majority of the issues had either been totally ignored or poorly fixed. So I delayed my tentative move date (and lease signing date) by another week. I gave them a third week to fix things like broken kitchen cabinets, stained carpets, torn screens, etc. I did my third walk thru and still, half of the list had been totally ignored. They hadn't even received any of my money yet! I'd hate to see how the maintenance staff performs AFTER I signed the lease. So needless to say, I had to walk away from the deal. I convinced them to give me my deposit back (they normally don't refund this, but if they hadn't, I know my credit card company would've gladly helped me dispute the charge.) I really did want to live here. I was hopeful. But I expect more from a place when they sell themselves as "luxury apartments" ... and I wasn't feeling it at all. Matthew |

I'm not sure why you feel the need to attack a community you never even lived in, but maybe you just have nothing better to do.

A page long list? Seriously, it's an apartment. Maybe you should buy a new home. Sounds like you have very little going on in your life. People like you who want everything for nothing ($600 off a month) needs to find something to do. I have lived at Citation Club for well over a year now and apparently you were not serious in your search. You missed out. The people and the community itself is a pleasure. Good luck on your search for a deeeeeeluxe apartment in the sky (for $600 off a month). I hope to never be your neighbor.

SO "They hadn't even received any off your money yet....but you STILL convinced them to give your deposit BACK?" You're talking in circles here - you're making me dizzy. Good luck on your apartment search...
