Overall it is questionable

Diamond Forest has been a rather interesting stay. Overall the office people have been easy to deal with, aside from the manager, who can tend to be an irritation.
Upon my arrival from out of state I found my apartment completely unsatisfactory to live in. The carpet had a white power substance, most likely paint dust from the over spray, that was noticed all over my infant. So after moving in we had to move out while they installed new carpet (not willingly).
Soon after the move in we had several discomforting situations with the manager about the WATER BILL(which was unmentioned in the lease), parking, and things I suppose I do not want to recall.
After being here for my first year I have meet some wonderful people and enjoy my apartment immensely. Moreover, the area is quite nice. However, this comes at a price. While looking into renewal I was told that rent would increase at almost 10%. This is an absolutely ridiculous number. Inflation is at about 2% and most people?s real income is shrinking. This absurd price would be over what most people pay for a home.
Taking all this into account I believe that the management company is trying to squeeze as much as they can and just might be in the market to sell the property. They offered wonderful specials and incentives to new comers last year and have a fairly full boat. In addition, much of they staff has left in the office and they seem to be getting a younger maintenance staff (this can be scary). But, if this is not the case they are certainly juicing the people here because interest rates are extremely low and I am sure they have refinanced.
