When I first moved here the people (staff and residents)were generally friendly, the complex was clean, tidy and well kept. The rent was reasonable and the maintenance was generally quick and reliable.
Management changed in the second half of 2000, the tone got very unfriendly to the point where I started being annoyed (rude notices on doors etc). I terminated my lease early as I was changing jobs and cities and paid a lease buy-out fee for my early termination. Five month later I pull my credit report and there is a claim on it from the management company for the remaining part of my rent. They claim I owe them four months of rent, have never notified my of their claim (which according to their guidelines is non-existent as I paid a buy-out fee) and messed up my otherwise perfect credit report. Their cliam (according to their cellecting agency) is completely unresonable, but they still insist that I pay them several thousand dollars. It seems this will have to go to an attorney. VERY ANNOYING. STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE A DECENT HUMAN BEING!
