I don't know what people expect from apartment living!
For the most part we love it here! The grounds are well kept, clean and quiet, the people that live here are friendly, even the office staff seems to have it's act together.
On the downside the maintenance staff is incredibly slow. It takes them weeks to fix a small problem. They have a totally different understanding of an emergency. Either that or just lazy.
Parking lots would have been nice to be a bit bigger, there just arent enough extra spaces. If you have 2 cars or a guest you are pretty much out of luck finding a spot.
We've lived in several apartments in the Detroit area over the past few years and this one seems to be the best.
