overpriced - not worth the money

This may be one of the most overpriced apartments in farmington hills. I stayed for one year and called it quits. In addition to rent you pay water bill (as high as 43$), heat (my winter bill was 200$ in peak winter) and electricity. The furnace was very very old and inefficient and worst thing is that it switches off frequently (mostly at nights, so i have to wake up shivering and light the pilot on). They refused to acknowledge that the furnace has to be repaired, instead they handed me a lighter to light it when it goes off - so much for maintenance! The have a fairly big master bedroom with just one heat vent in a corner - so even if we keep thermostat at 82, still bedroom is at 70. The insulation around windows had worn off - when reported their reply was go to k-mart and get a window shield! There's goose dump every where - You can't walk without stepping on them and the worst thing is the horrible smell when they turn on sprinklers - may be they are using water from the nearby pond. Kitchen cabinets and all appliances were old and inefficient. There were reports of stolen tires from vehicles parked at the premises. They increase rent every year by atleast 45$. I was waiting for my lease to end to get out and glad i did. k6tKKzmJrmATU2ap682S
