Green Hill Apts SUCK!!!

If you are looking for a decent, high quality, & comfortable place to live - RUN... Avoid Green Hill like the plague!

Horrible & incompetent maintenance - at least 2 to 5 people will come in & out of your apartment to handle problems and then it is never done 100% satisfactorily; it seems they change staff on weekly basis - there are regulars, but there is always someone new showing up; they track in dirt & leave you to clean up after they make a mess; their maid/janitorial, repair, painting, & carpet cleaning staff have yet to do a satisfactory job

Hallways/Banisters/Doors - it is common to find dirty & smelly hallways; there is duct tape on banisters; most inside/outside doors have problems with doorknobs & locks; entry floors & hall carpets are dirty; most hallways look like cheap hotels; maids come by with fresheners now & then

Plumbing - lots of plumbing problems here & maintenance seems to be too incompetent to handle them sufficiently

Tenants - lots of undesirable tenants; some are loud & some are unfriendly; some are friendly & quiet

Grounds/Parking - landscape crew very noisy & inefficient; leaf blowers blow trash & debris around so there is always paper or litter on the grounds; lots of time, money & effort spent on flowers & grounds near entrances & throughout noticeable areas like near leasing center; parking is hassle because lots of cars take up two spaces; Snow - prompt and adequate snow removal is nonexistent; it takes them forever to shovel snow & then only certain areas are shoveled; at least 20% of the parking spaces are never seen due to snow mountains so tenants have to park far away or get home before everyone else does;

Inside apartments - cabinets, counters, flooring, carpets, appliances, tubs, sinks, & window treatments are low quality & cheap looking; maintenance does inadequate work so nothing is of high quality; there is always a problem with something on a monthly basis; there are 800 units & I have seen about 1% of them & they all had problems; some problems are not seen as problems by staff & management so they do nothing about them

Office staff/management - manager, Tom Schumacher, is a rude & cold-blooded jerk! he is a petite little man with a big nasty attitude; he can push the preacher's wife into wanting to slap him; other staff members are flaky, rude, phony, attitudinal, & disinterested; if John Uznis had any sense he would investigate the conditions of his property & the staff representing his property; then again, as long as he is getting paid he probably cares about as much as his hired help does.

Bugs/Spiders - this place can substitute as an insect museum; I've seen varieties of bugs & spiders I have NEVER seen before; since living here I always seem to have an itchy red bump somewhere on my body - which means these bugs/spiders BITE!

Green Hill is all about "show" without real substance. They go through a lot of trouble to hire an abundance of staff & outside workers to "look busy", but they are really doing nothing efficiently; if Green Hill took care of the inside of their buildings the way they take care of the flowers seen on Nine Mile & at the Metroview entrance maybe they could have a decent apartment community rather than a crappy one.
