Don't move here if you have a dog

Green Hill is falsely luring unsuspecting dog owners to it's nest.
Pet friendly means muzzle your dog, give it a shock collar, and make sure it never makes a sound - inside the apartment or in the parking lot. Some of the neighbors do not clean-up behind their dogs. The toilet seats were filthy - I had to buy my own (they should have replaced them before I moved in).
The clean-up crew is horrible. I had to clean my own unit upon move-in. The washer had BLACK funky grime caked all over it. The cabinets had crumbs in them. The bathroom sinks were rotted out. The bathroom tiles were all cracked up. There are stains all over the utility room and kitchen floor. The furnace room is filthy. The glass shower door was off track and filthy. The kitchen cabinets, fixtures, appliances are all retro 1960's.
The neighbors in the "dog" building are evil. There were a couple nice people, but for the price you pay, the headache is not worth it. The carpet is shedding. I had a two page list of things that needed to be repaired upon move-in.

Don't move into HELL. KEEP LOOKING!

thats absolutely ridiculous. i live here and i love it. i am a pet owner and have never experienced anything bad regarding waste clean up or noise. maybe you should teach your loud obnoxious dog to shut up and you wouldnt have had an issue. your the owner of the pet not the other way around... my apt was clean and the carpet did shed but it was NEW. all new carpet sheds...everyone knows that. my advice is to count your blessings that you even got in at Green Hill because you sound like someone they wouldnt have let in anyways and so thank goodness you moved out. see ya!

He's absolutely right. The apartments are old and have a lot of plumbing, mold and mildew issues running rampant throughout the complex. The old carpet sheds also as it is fraying. Try taking a black light to your carpet, I guarantee you will find some type of urine embedded in the carpet from a pet or person. Most new residents are exposed to black mold spores everyday and are not even aware of it, as it was a silent issue they were afraid of the residents finding out about, but unfortunately Michigan does not have any legislation on it yet as a carcinogen. Don't believe me? Check your outdoor furnace room walls, if they were repaired your unit had it and the spores blew throughout your apartment at some time or another. If you have kids or your wife is pregnant get out of there as fast as you can.

Get out of Green Hill. Its the pits. If you want a nice apartment lifestyle, try the Fairmont or the Muriwood. Both are excellent properties. At the Muirwood, being a dog owner, having a dog is a joy not a job. If your dog is on a leash and clean up behind it, you're fine. No worries!
