Maintenance was unable to fix any of the problems and gave lame excuses. I was even told to open the window and keep the blinds closed to try and get the room temperature under 80 degree. After I refused to renew the lease due to poor maintenance and uncomfortably hot temperatures they replaced the air conditioner and fix a few other minor problems. At least the apartment is in better condition for the next tenant. I was told the high temperature is due to the boiler heat so if you like your apartment to be over 80 degrees in the winter this is the place for you.

This apartment had the worse paint job I have ever seen. The heating unit was falling apart. There was an infestation of beige lady bugs and wasp (at least I had a short term lease over the winter months. They went dormant shortly after I moved in so I did not have to deal with this much.) The gutter fell off the roof in the middle of winter. The replacement gutters were not installed properly so they leaked creating a sheet of ice over the stairs. This was eventually fixed after several complaints and a few falls.

I was warned about their unethical practices so made sure I kept everything documented. You will need to go into maintenance and make them due a final walkthrough so you do not get charged for nonexistent damage. Taking picture before you move in and after would be a good idea. You will not get your security deposit back (at least the leasing agent told me this upfront). They are claiming unpaid utilities but are unable or unwilling to provide evidence or an itemized bill.

The good thing: Full sized stackable washer (hard to find in other places) and great storage space. Also including the membership to the local Powerhouse gym was nice.
