I have lived at IGA since the start of 2007 and when i first moved in and had thewalk through, it was fine. THey give a good talk. A couple of weeks after moving in, i found the first of many roaches. When i reported this problem i was told that they are not cockroaches (wood roaches is what they are) but it makes no difference because it is still a roach. IGA has astanding appointment with Eradico (an extermination company) for every friday. But when you call management about this, they act as if you are the first person to have this problem.

This goes to the lack of communication between management and maintenence, management and management, and maintenence and maintenence. I had leaking coming from the apartment above me and it took them 1 week to repair it the FIRST time and when it happened again it took 3 weeks. They had said that the work order was on the "wall" but somehow it was assumed it was completed. This happens often.

Maintenence does not inform you when they come by. They rarely leave a note stating they were in the unit. I have been home several times when I have heard a knock on the door and it was maintenence. Then they look at you like 'oh you were supposed to get something saying we were coming'.

IGA is VERY unprofessional. Please if you plan on moving in, keep EVERYTHING you receive from maintenence, as you may need it if you end up going to court.
