We moved into IG in 2007 - and it is a dump. The walls are chiped, corners of walls dented - appliances are old. Cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom are pressed wood and everytime I go to use a pan, I have to rinse it because the wood is deteriorating. The baseboard heating devices are old and missing sections. They do not have central air, but 2 air conditioners instead. Our tile in the bathtub was not installed properly (I am sure I will billed for that - even though it is not my work!) The carpet in the hallways (in the building) are stained and never cleaned or even vaccuumed. They charge you a monthly rate for gas and mine is about $70.00 which is ridiculous! The staff is friendly when you are moving in, but once they have you - look out! You are a unit number to them and that is all! They don't want to hear about your problems!

This place is the worse apartments ever. The staff cares NOTHING about the residents! I hate this place! If you're ONE day late on rent, they charge you $75 and to add insult to injury, they post a letter on your door that SAME day, in full view of all the other residents, of their intent to evict if they aren't paid within 10 days. So then, everyone knows your business! The bathtub when we moved in appeared to be clean, but within a month, it was PEELING paint chips all over. It was painted obviously before we moved in. And incorrectly at that. A few weeks ago, the ceiling was leaking water from the vent. I went upstairs to ask the neighbor if they had something overrunning. He said that the tub had overfilled earlier and he cleaned it up. Well, now there's a big hole in my ceiling above my tub. Little plaster pieces are falling into the tub on a daily basis. I left a message for maintainence and haven't heard back yet. Still waiting. DO NOT MOVE here unless you have no place else left to go! It is not worth the money they charge and the service sucks!!

You are totally RIGHT! My walls are chipping, and I have a hole in my floor half the size of a basketball next to my heater in the main room. I told maintenance and they did nothign for it. The bugs are ridiculous, I have duct tape in so many smaller hole and cracks that have bugs living in them. When I moved in, the workers forgot to finish my bathroom and kitchen counters. They were all falling apart and cracked, the paint in the sink was not meant to get wet and left a huge mess. They called in a guy to take care of it, but he had sprayed this powerful white stuff all over and my brand new apt. reaked of chemoicals for days, and there was a white dust on EVERYTHING! Some of my clothes were ruined. I didnt know enough to do anythign about that, this was my first apt. Horrible place! the only thing it has going for them is the friendly wildlife..
