There is a mandatory heating fee, but heating the apartment is not mandatory. It only worked in our apartment in the winter months for maybe 3-4 hours out of the day. Numerous calls were made to correct the issue. Our calls were acknowledged, but at the same time, ignored.

Moving out has been a nightmare. I have lived in other places and given them notice a month before I was to leave and there was no problem. My working situation changed and I could not have known I needed to leave. I gave them notice 53 days in advance. They're charging me the full charge for not giving them notice of leaving (60 days).

They are very poor in communication. I received a bill saying i didn't owe anything, but I now have been told I owe 15 days of rent.

They spoke RUDELY to my wife when trying to discuss these issues over the phone, the manager of the complex is dodging our calls. You would think we left holes in the wall and stole the appliances the way we've been treated.

My original lease agreement had a 30 day notice, and when I did a 3 month extension, which was a year later, they changed it to 60 days and never told me or showed me the new policy. So when I tried to move out, I gave them 23 days notice and told them I would pay the pro-rated amount for the seven days I was shorth, but they refused and said I had to pay two months rent. I had to get a lawyer to call their lawyers and settle for my original offer. Worst place ever.

Totally agree, when we moved out for the military we gave 45 days notice, which legally they had to agree to. When we got our "final bill" it had a short notice fee AND and extra months rent. It took me 45 minutes on the phone with them to get it resolved, and I think the only thing that made them resolve it that quickly was the threat of having Navy Legal contact them. This place is disguesting and old, and the staff in the office is completely imcompentent. Stay away from here.
