Not Highly Recommended.

Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2004
I have lived in Polo Club for three years. The first year was nice. I had a couple below me who were so quiet, I thought the floors must be made of concrete.
Then, 2 young ladies (and I use the term "ladies" loosely) who recently graduated college moved in. I could hear every conversation, phone call & arguement. Not to mention the door slamming & parties.
Complaints to management met plenty of resistence & excuses. "I" needed to call the police "everytime" anything happend, otherwise "they could do nothing." And that's exactly what they did, "nothing."
Other issues with the apartment include;
Traffic noise from I-275 is high to extreme.
Cooking smells (CURRY!), cigarette smoke odor, etc backdraft through the dryer vents, & bathroom exhaust vents and seep through walls & floor.
Noisy, especially if the tenants below are college students or have children. ALWAYS hear doors slamming, cabinets closing, car doors, people walking on the sidewalk or talking outside.
Hard to heat & cool, especially if you have a top floor apartment. This will cost you BIG MONEY.
Management is slow to fix anything without repeated complaints. Then it is usually a "quick fix", spit & binder-twine job. Maintenance is incompetent.
Rooms are ackward and not very ergonomic when furnished. Lots of wasted space.
Not enough storage. Have a garage sale or throw out anything you can live without if you move here. You won?t have anyplace to put your extras.
Electrical outlets are too few & in odd places. Especially in the bathrooms.
Bathrooms are small. You'll either get your face bashed in by the bathroom door or tear your rotator cuff reaching for the tp.
White or cream colored (beige) walls, tile, carpet, countertops, cupboards, showers, tub. Dirt, dust and scuffs show up on EVERYTHING. Hope you like to clean!
In a nutshell, as long as you never have an issue and you have quiet neighbors, it's a great place to live.
Somewhat overpriced for what you get.
