Because of a sudden personal family problem that happened right at the end of my lease, I chose to move into another apartment at Madison instead of moving OUT like I wanted to. I've been here for several years. Well the lovely staff here never mailed me a copy of my signed lease agreement or anything welcoming me to my new apartment. All they sent was a bill for damages to my OLD apartment. The bill wasn't a big deal, the problem was that it gave me exactly 18 days to pay it or it would be sent to a collection agency! And since this happened during the holidays and I didnt forward my mail for a few weeks, by the time I got the letter, it was too late! They had already sent it to collections and ruined my credit. They said it was "out of their hands." Just keep that in mind, new renters: this place gives 18 days and only ONE notice before they ruin your credit and take NO responsibility for doing it.
