Fed Up and Frustrated - 2007-07-18
I have lived there Since April 2007, and my excitment lasted about 2 weeks. The maintainence crew and management are very poor. They have an excellent cover up though, The BEST leasing agent out there. It is July, and I still have yet to get my initial inventory maintanence request completed to my satisfaction. Even private vendors have negative comments about the maintaince crew. Don't have an emergency, you'll be interrupting them and they only "take note" of it. This community comes up with more excuses on why they cannot complete a task than I could ever imagine. They are friendly and nice to talk to though. Now Management doesn't appear to be helpful at all. Their excuses are horrible as well. They twist your concerns and show no interest or concern about their community. If you're still inteseted in staying here, there will probably be a vacancy soon, I have got to get out of here. The service is not worth the rent.

Well said! Especially the part about twisting your concerns. The woman who manages Madison is a master at acting concerned but convincing you that there is nothing she can do. Which is, of course, a bunch of crap - she's the manager! She can fix your problem if she wants to, she just doesn't want to. By the way the main maintenance guy is extremely creepy. As a woman I am not at all comfortable around him.

I agree. Well stated. One thing I learned about living at Madison Apartments is get everything in writing. After all the problems I had with them, I ended up only communicating with them via email. If you end up having to take them to court, having a clear record of all communications is super helpful.
