I signed a 15 month lease. At 11 months, I was getting notices that my lease was expiring. It took speaking to someone twice there to get it updated... or so I thought. On the 13th month, I got a notice on my door that my rent had gone up $400 and since they didn't recieve it, I had 10 days to get them the payment plus a late fee, or I was being taken to court. I contacted the office to see what the h*ll that was about, and the 'manager' there stated that it just hadn't been updated in the system (even though I had spoken to someone twice before) and to disregard the letter. I was also displeased that they'd simply leave a demand note like that on my door without so much as a phone call first. VERY poor customer service, in my opinion. And I was very disappointed in the manager's lack of professionalism. Now, at 14 months completed in my lease, I've recieved ANOTHER notice (one month too early) that my lease will expire. They have the absolute worst record keeping of any business I've ever seen. Aside from that, my unit was poorly painted, and has had numerous maintanence issues over the past year, many times taking up to a week to have maintanence fix it. All I get are excuses (oh, we're short-staffed/really busy/etc). What attracted me to this place are the location and grounds, however there's regularly litter across the grounds from the many residents who seem to care less and less about their community. What seemed to be a bargain has become quite a disappointment. And, as close as it is to Harrison High School, I hope you don't mind football game and marching band noise... it seems like it never stops.

AMEN!!! I've lived at Madison for years unfortunately and I totally agree with this review. I've been through all kinds of crap with the management... it's a JOKE.

My apartment was not cleaned upon move in. They were always losing things in the office! I would pay my water bill directly to them and then they would not send it to NW&P and then they started calling me saying I was in collections!!! CRAZY I tell you, I heard Tammi is gone which is good because she NEVER returned calls. Please anyone who is thinking about moving here reconsider, the cheap rent is NOT worth what they put you through once you live there!!!
