I've been at the Madison for almost 2 years. When my lease comes up for renewal in a few months, I'm out!!! The noise transfer from the neighboring apartments is terrible. You can hear everything! From bathroom habits, to sexual play, to babies crying. I stay in a first floor apartment and just the act of the upstairs tenant walking from one end of the apartment to the other sets off a cacophany of creaking & snapping wood - and yes I hear them actually stepping. The maintenance is subpar...if you can get someone out in a timely manner w/o multiple phone calls to the office. Also the heating bills are incredibly high for an apartment this size. In the winter, the furnace almost never shuts off! ($175-$200 in winter, 900 sq ft.)The grounds and location were a draw initially but they are definitely not enough to make me renew.
